RN-Bitum and "Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields)" will cooperate in the use of bituminous materials

RN-Bitum LLC, a subsidiary of Rosneft, and Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields)" have entered into an agreement on cooperation in the use of modern bituminous materials (polymer-bitumen binders) at airport infrastructure facilities.

It is expected that one of the key areas of cooperation will be the construction of pilot and experimental sites of airfield infrastructure facilities with the use of the Alfabit polymer-bitumen binder. The results of monitoring of these sites will help create requirements for the product taking into account the characteristics of these facilities.

RN-Bitum and Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields)" are also interested in building a research and development system in the application of polymer-bitumen binders at the airfield infrastructure facilities, proper planning of R&D efforts, development of professional taining and advanced training programs, and also intend to contribute to the improvement of the regulatory basis in this area.

RN-Bitum sells bituminous materials from eight refineries of Rosneft, as well as polymer-bitumen binders (PBB) under the Alfabit brand. The proportion of bitumen products of RN-Bitum LLC on the Russian market is about 30%.

Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Administration of Civil Airports (Airfields)" is a holder of assets of federal civil aerodromes and airfields, reconstructed in the framework of the federal target programs.
