Rosneft Bitumen took part in the International Forum "Innovative Technologies and Intelligent Transport Systems in Road Construction"
Representatives of RN-Bitum took part in the International Forum "Innovative Technologies and Intelligent Transport Systems in Road Construction", which was held online.
The event was organized by the State Company Russian Highways together with the Federal Road Agency with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
During the “Modified polymer-bitumen binders: a new round in the evolution of the roadbed” session representatives of RN-Bitumen spoke about the product line and the prospects for its improvement. It was noted that after the first year of implementation of the national project "Safe and High-Quality Roads", the demand for polymer-bitumen binders and bitumen binders according to PG classification, providing increased durability of asphalt concrete pavements, has significantly increased. Based on the comprehensive research study for 2019-2020, carried out at the corporate specialized institute for the development of technologies for bituminous binders and asphalt concrete of PJSC Rosneft Oil Company, 100% readiness of the Company's oil refinery plants for the production of these brands of binders was confirmed.
A joint project of Avtodor and RN-Bitum LLC on the construction of experimental sites with various bituminous binders supplied by RN-Bitumen LLC on the M1 "Belarus" federal highway was also presented at the session.
